Almost all hospitals are required to provide some "charity care" programs. You can search your state of Delaware's official page and search for "Charity Care" info and or search the web page of the treating hospital for info. If you still cannot find it, contact the hospital's "patient Advocate" to inquire. Just came across the following web site which may offer more insight into how to handle this situation: http://www.hospitalvictims.com/hv_about.asp Best of luck.

What's on your heart and mind today?

in response to Crosseyedangel...   No legitimate business would solicit you about a loan thru your e-mail account in that manner. Also, they would have a registered business e-mail not a yahoo, etc. account. Don't be fooled.

If she is a US Citizen then try this:

Emergencies and Crises
Print Email The State Department's Office of American Citizen Services and Crisis Management (ACS) supports the work of our overseas embassies and consulates in providing emergency services to Americans traveling or living abroad. We also assist in non-emergency matters of birth, identity, passport, citizenship, registration, judicial assistance, and estates. ACS can facilitate the transfer of funds overseas to assist U.S. citizens in need, repatriate the remains of loved ones who have died overseas, assist victims of crime, and help U.S. citizens who are detained in foreign prisons. In other words, ACS is here to assist you and your family whenever and wherever we can.

ACS also administers a repatriation loan program to bring home destitute Americans. We operate a 24-hour Duty Officer Program and Crisis Response Teams who work on task forces convened to deal with natural or man-made disasters.

Perhaps they can help: http://www.jobcorps.gov/Youth.aspx http://www.youthbuild.org/site/c.htIRI3PIKoG/b.1223923/k.C7D6/About_Us.htm Sometimes the age listed on aidpage is inaccurate so if that is the case in your case and you are 16-24 then the following link might be useful: http://lwd.dol.state.nj.us/labor/wfprep/edtrain/ged/Youth.html Also listing your skills on your page might result in resources or referrals to employment opportunities.

That's a pretty special ID card. I can get a passport for less. Are you sure that you are not being taken advantage of? In any event try http://www4.va.gov/ogc/apps/accreditation/index.asp to find verified Veteran's Service Organizations
